(AUDIO) CARLY PEARCE IS OVER THE HYPE OF NEW YEAR’S EVE

New Year’s Eve is one of those holidays that can be really fun, but often times the anticipation and the pressure of what to do is bigger than the actual celebration.  Carly Pearce says, “I feel like every year it’s just kind of the same deal with my friends, especially since I’ve had the same group of friends in Nashville for almost seven years now and we kind of do the same thing every year.  So it’s never really that exciting.”

Carly recalls one fun New Year’s Eve she celebrated on the beach in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, but otherwise she says, “It’s just another day.  The older I get the more I’m just like, ehh whatever.  I’m sometimes in bed before the ball drops.”

While Carly might not be overly-hyped up for New Year’s Eve, she’s definitely beyond excited for what’s to come in the New Year.  Besides getting to watch her new single, “Hide the Wine,” climb the charts, Carly will be on the Country Music Freaks Tour with Blake Shelton and The Life Changes Tour with Thomas Rhett in 2018.

“I feel like every year it’s just kind of the same deal with my friends, especially since I’ve had the same group of friends in Nashville for almost seven years now and we kind of do the same thing every year.  So it’s never really that exciting. One year I went to Cabo. That was pretty fun just cause I got to spend it on a beach, but it’s just another day.  The older I get the more I’m just like, ehh whatever.  I’m sometimes in bed before the ball drops.”
