Justin Moore would definitely be considered one of the more traditional sounding artists in country music, and while his kids have their own taste in music, Justin jokes, “Without a doubt I’m trying to push my music onto my kids.”
He also tries to expose his kids to 90’s country and some classic country. Fortunately when it comes to his own music, Justin says his kids, “really do like it. They always want me to turn it on country when we get in the car or truck or whatever, which is awesome.”
Justin laughs and says there’s one type of music he and his wife try to get the kids to listen to that they definitely do not like. “We also do push some old school rap and stuff on em. Eazy-E, Snoop and those guys, just kind of out of the fun of it, and they go, ‘Aaarrrhhhh.’ You know, the music that we grew up … or that was out during our era, outside of country music, they just hate.”
Fortunately, all four of Justin’s kids have given his latest single, “Why We Drink,” their stamp of approval.
