CURRENT SINGLE: “We Didn’t Have Much”
Justin Moore launched his self-titled podcast eight months ago as a way to stay connected to his fans during the pandemic, outside of social media, because he admits, “I’m not great on social media. It’s not my favorite thing to do. I don’t enjoy it at all, to be honest with ya. If I didn’t have to have it for my job, I wouldn’t. And so I thought (the podcast) was a way for me to kinda connect with my fans on a little bit of a deeper level.”
The Justin Moore podcast has already aired 32 episodes over two seasons, and one of the other perks Justin has loved about having his own podcast is getting the time to really connect and have some fun conversations with other artist friends like Brantley Gilbert, Riley Green, Jon Pardi, Chris Janson and Kip Moore. Justin says, “Typically, those are brief conversations at festivals where we go, ‘Hey, how’re you doin’? How are the kids? Okay, see ya. Have a good show.’”
Although Justin launched his podcast as a way to connect with his fans during the pandemic, he says, “It’s been fun for me, I’ve enjoyed it and, you know, if it’s somethin’ fans continue to enjoy, then we’ll continue to do it even when we get back out on the road.

“I just felt like I had to do somethin’. I felt like if I was just sittin’ around all day, or even if I was being productive around the house, I felt like I had to be doing something to connect with people, otherwise I kinda felt lazy, to be honest with you. And there’s only so many Instagram Lives you can do. And you know, I’m not great on social media. It’s not my favorite thing to do. I don’t enjoy it at all, to be honest with ya. If I didn’t have to have it for my job, I wouldn’t. And so I thought it was a way for me to kinda connect with my fans on a little bit of a deeper level. Plus, I mean, our guest list has been really, really good. It’s given me the opportunity to connect with friends who are artists, that otherwise I wouldn’t have. Typically, those are brief conversations at festivals where we go, ‘Hey, how’re you doin’? How are the kids? Okay, see ya. Have a good show.’ But it’s been fun for me, I’ve enjoyed it and, you know, if it’s somethin’ fans continue to enjoy, then we’ll continue to do it even when we get back out on the road.”
