BRAND NEW SINGLE – “7500 OBO”
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill just announced that they will be starring in the upcoming Paramount Plus series, 1883, which will be the prequel to the wildly popular TV series, Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner. This will mark the first time Tim and Faith have ever acted together on a project, so we don’t know what that experience will be like for them, but if the way they work together so well on music is any indication, it should be great. Despite the fact that their musical styles are so different, they somehow work when they come together. “Our style is different, the way we sing is different,” Tim says. “I mean, she is R&B, just soulful singer. But I think that there’s somethin’ that our voices together really work well. I think that there’s a sound that creates.”
Tim can’t quite explain why his country twang and Faith’s soulful R&B sound work together on songs, but he says, “I feel like when we make a record there’s somethin’ that happens voice-wise, sort of like oil and water, that creates this sort of cool combination.”
So, even if Tim and Faith come at acting from different methods or perspectives, perhaps that same harmonious blend they’re able to find in songs will shine through on the television screen as well.
Tim McGraw – why Tim & Faith work well :30
“We’re such different artists. Our style is different, the way we sing is different. I mean, she is R&B, just soulful singer. But I think that there’s somethin’ that our voices together really work well. I think that there’s a sound that creates. If I can be objective as I can be, there’s sort of a thing that happens with our voices together because they’re so different, because they come from such different places musically, that really works together. I mean that’s what I feel. I feel like when we make a record there’s somethin’ that happens voice-wise, sort of like oil and water, that creates this sort of cool combination.”
