CURRENT SINGLE – “7500 OBO”
Tim McGraw had to cancel his Here on Earth Tour in 2020 due to the pandemic, so he’s definitely thrilled to have a few tour dates on his calendar in 2021 because he says, “I just look forward to the energy. I always compare it to being an athlete in high school, in the locker room before a football game or a basketball game or before a baseball game even, just the energy that you have and the anticipation. You know, I don’t get nervous when I’m doing live shows. I get really excited and just full of energy and adrenaline. To me it’s like game day. I get pretty jacked up for it.”
The one time Tim does get nervous before taking the stage is when he’s performing on television, like on an awards show. Tim says, “That makes you really nervous, and that’s when I really have to gather myself.”
But Tim loves performing in concert so much he says, “The anticipation for it drives me crazy. When it’s delayed, whenever we have a show and somethings delaying it, it just drives me crazy. I want to get going and get ready to hit it.”
Tim’s next live show will happen this Saturday at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, IL. You can see his full schedule at timmcgraw.com.
