Tim McGraw will release his new album, Here on Earth, on August 21st, and last Friday when the album went up for pre-sale, Tim released the title track of the album, and he says, “‘Here on Earth,’ first off, it’s the title track to the album because it says everything that I wanted to say with the scope of the album, it says it within that song in particular. It sort of goes through the stages of life.”
Tim also revealed that throughout his career, he has always tried to make the third song on his albums an interesting or impactful song like “Here on Earth,” that will draw people in, because he says, “After you’ve listened to the first and second song, when you get to the third song you want something that sort of keeps everybody interested, and I think that that song does that. I hope it does that, anyway.”
“I Called Mama,” was the first song released off of Here on Earth less than 10 weeks ago, and it is already sitting in the top 15 on the charts. You can pre-order the album now on timmcgraw.com.
Tim McGraw – Here on Earth song :31
“Well, ‘Here on Earth,’ first off, it’s the title track to the album because it says everything that I wanted to say with the scope of the album, it says it within that song in particular. It sort of goes through the stages of life. And what the song’s talking about is your love for your family is why you’re here. That’s what the song said to me. And I always like the third song on the album to sort of have a feel that draws you in. After you’ve listened to the first and second song, when you get to the third song you want something that sort of keeps everybody interested, and I think that that song does that. I hope it does that, anyway.”
