(AUDIO) Tim McGraw Hopes To Empower His Daughters

As the father of three daughters, Tim McGraw says his main goal as a parent is to empower his girls. He says, “You want them to be empowered, and that’s what Faith and I are really tryin’ to do all the time, is empower our girls to know that they can accomplish anything they want to accomplish. They can do anything they wanna do and not let anything hold ‘em back.”

Tim admits that sometimes that message of empowerment leads to his daughters not even listening to mom and dad, but he says it doesn’t change their desire to empower their daughters because, “You just want ‘em to go out and conquer the world.”

Tim’s latest single, “Diamond Rings and Old Barstools,” off of his Sundown Heaven Town album, is rapidly approaching the top ten.

“Havin’ young women in my life, you want them to be empowered, and that’s what Faith and I are really tryin’ to do all the time, is empower our girls to know that they can accomplish anything they want to accomplish. They can do anything they wanna do and not let anything hold ‘em back, and sometimes it comes at a cost to us ‘cause they’re not listen’ to us even. But you just want ‘em to go out and conquer the world.”
