(AUDIO) Rascal Flatts Offers Advice To New Artists At The CMA Music Festival

Rascal Flatts has been together as a band for 15 years, and in that time they’ve participated in many CMA Music Festivals. The 2015 CMA Music Festival will take place this week in Nashville, June 11th – 14th, and while it can be hectic for some artists and a bit of a blur, Rascal Flatts encourages new artists to make the most of the unique opportunity to be a part of it.

Gary LeVox says, “You know, this is the only genre, the only concert where you can drive right down the road from your house and have everybody from Australia to the UK, to all 50 States, all here in our backyard. So, go up there on stage, when you get a chance to perform, sing it like it’s the last time you’re gonna be able to do it, and you get to affect all the countries and all of the people in the states, all in one time, and you got four songs to do it. So, just don’t miss out on the opportunity to capitalize on the platform you’ve been given.”

Rascal Flatts will be performing at this year’s CMA Music Festival on Thursday, June 11th at LP Field. They’ll perform their current single, “Riot,” as well as several of their hits.
