Maddie & Tae are spending their summer on the road with Dierks Bentley as part of his Sounds of Summer Tour, but when they do have some time off in the summer, Maddie says she loves to head to the water. “My favorite way to spend a perfect summer day would be floating down a river in an inner tube with my family somewhere in Texas,” says Maddie, “and hot dogs and hamburgers for dinner with sweet tea, and if a snow cone is involved then it’s like the best day ever.”

Maddie & Tae have a date on the Sounds of Summer Tour on July 3rd, but then they have five days off, including the 4th of July, so chances are, Maddie will get a chance to enjoy her idea of a perfect summer day. In addition to touring this summer, the girls are preparing to release their debut album, Start Here, featuring their latest single, “Fly,” on August 28th.
