When it comes to movies, Brantley prefers man movies like Scarface. He also likes westerns. He says, “You got like The Man from Snowy River is like a classic old cowboy movie. And then, Lonesome Dove is a good movie, I like it too.”
Another movie Brantley is a huge fan of is American Sniper, about Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper in U.S. history. Brantley says, “I know it’s taken a lot a heat, and the hell with all that. I’m a huge believer in that guy, I appreciate everything he did for his country and I think documenting and highlighting a life like his, I think deserves the spotlight, so I’m glad they made the movie, and I don’t really agree with anybody that sees anything wrong with it.”
Brantley has always been a huge supporter of our military, and even spotlights one of our fallen heroes in his latest single, “One Hell of an Amen.”
