(AUDIO) Hank Williams Jr. Set To Release New Single This Month

One look at Hank Jr.’s Facebook page and you’ll see a photo of the country star cutting timber on his Tennessee farm. That’s Hank Jr.!

But lately, one thing that’s gotten him off the farm is something else he really enjoys…time spent in the studio working on new music. With 12-#1 albums to his credit Hank Jr. says, “I kinda produce my own stuff. I’m a very serious guy in the studio.”

A new single is expected this month and Hank commented, “I am making some of the best music I have ever made, some critics will love it and others will not, I learned years ago, you cannot please everyone!”

If you know anything about Hank, you know he’s not concerned about the critics. And 20 GOLD records say that when it comes right down to it, what really matters is his fans…

WHAT HE’S DOING THIS WEEK – AUGUST 3, 2015 – MONDAY

Hank Williams Jr. has a few shows this week, one in Minnesota at WE Fest (8/7) and one in South Dakota (8/8).

Check out additional audio HERE of Hank talking about playing not very many shows each year thus making each show an event:

(:38) (Hank Williams Jr.) “When you only do twenty four a year it’s a big difference it’s not gonna be, ‘Well, we can go see him…’ No you’re not gonna go see him over there ’cause him is gonna be fishing and him is gonna be hunting and you know they learned that a long time ago. It makes it special, I mean way upstate New York and Northern California were as good as anywhere. I remember he said, ‘Well, the cops are out of cuffs and the venue’s out of beer’ (laughs) says ‘I guess we can leave now’ (laughing) Oh yeah, it’s all good.”
