(AUDIO) A Thousand Horses Love and Support Country Music

A Thousand Horses brings their own unique sound to country radio, but they say that doesn’t mean they don’t listen to and enjoy the other styles of country music that their friends and peers are putting out on country radio. Lead singer Michael Hobby says, “We all listen to country (radio). I think you should always stay focused on your lane, but you know, we love listen’ to Country radio and hear, like Thomas Rhett’s ‘Crash and Burn’ and Sam Hunt’s style that he’s doing and Brothers Osborne ‘Stay a Little Longer’ is a great song.”

A Thousand Horses, whose latest single is “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial,” thinks it’s important to stay up to date with and support what other artists are doing in country music. Michael says, “A lot of these people are our friends that we’ve known for a long time, so you always wanna hear what they’re doing and be supportive of it. So, it’s definitely something we pay attention to.”

You can find “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial” on A Thousand Horses’ debut album, Southernality.
