(AUDIO) The Band Perry Gets Worn Down By Reid Perry

With three siblings in the band, The Band Perry sometimes has three differing opinions about things, but they say Reid has figured out a way to get what he really wants. It’s called “Working on the wear down.” Younger brother Neil explains, “Working on the wear down is a process that Reid goes through. Basically, he forms an opinion in his hard head and he starts letting that thought continue to simmer for about 30 minutes to an hour. He will just keep saying the same thing over and over again until we finally cave into his idea.”

Kimberly says it’s pretty effective because, “Sometimes we just cave in because we just want him to stop talking about it. And so … when we’re weak, we’ll agree and he wins.”

One thing Reid didn’t have to wear down his siblings about is The Band Perry’s latest single. They all agreed it was the best first choice to release from their forthcoming third album, which they’re currently working on.
