With four guys traveling together all the time on a tour bus, Jon Jones of Eli Young Band admits there can be some moodiness among the guys from time to time, but he says the way they handle it now is different than the way they used to deal with it. Jon says, “I think we’re all pretty good about lifting each other up and not adding to someone being in a bad mood. I think there was a time when kinda the brotherly thing that we’d kinda mess with each other quite a bit, but I think those days, for the most part are gone, and it’s more fun to mess with someone when they’re in a good mood and we know to kinda let it go when someone’s in a bad mood and let them turn themselves around.”
Jon says his moods are pretty transparent to the other guys. He admits, “I tend to be pretty moody. I try to do it quietly. I think that when I’m in a bad mood, you can really tell in my face, and I get really quiet. And when I’m in a really great mood, I’m very talkative and you can’t slow me down. So, I think the band knows to kinda leave me alone when I’m in a bad mood, and to kinda help cheer me up, but that I kinda need to be in a bad mood for a little while sometimes.”
Eli Young Band’s latest single, a duet of “Honey I’m Good” with Andy Grammer, is a great song for helping to put people in a good mood.

Eli Young Band – moodiness :45
“I would say that I tend to be pretty moody. I try to do it quietly. I think that when I’m in a bad mood, you can really tell in my face, and I get really quiet.
