On Ronnie Dunn’s Facebook page, he reaches out to his fans to support a project that grants money to classrooms. He points out that a friend and Oklahoma school teacher is in the finals for the $100,000 grant.
Ronnie himself has known a lot of teachers over the years, attending 13 schools growing up, before enrolling in college at Abilene Christian University, plus his son Jesse is also a teacher in Sacramento.
Knowing early on that music, not academics was his future, Ronnie stated, “I lasted probably a semester, and then I wandered into psychology and then realized I really had no business being in school.”
To find out more about how to support the grant for teachers, check Ronnie’s Facebook page for details.
