(AUDIO) Tim McGraw Says Leave His Family Out of It

Tim McGraw admits that living in Nashville, he and Faith Hill and their daughters don’t have to worry as much about paparazzi as they do when they travel to places like New York or Los Angeles. He says Nashville is “a safe haven in a lot a ways.”

While Tim understands that dealing with the paparazzi is a trade-off for having a successful music and acting career, he still doesn’t believe they should have free reign. Tim says, “There has to be some distance. I think that we put ourselves out there because that’s what we do for a livin’, but our kids didn’t ask for it. You got to have some restraint, and I think that any time they can push these guys back a bit it’s a good thing. I don’t mind people takin’ pictures, but at least if somebody says no, or somebody’s doin’ somethin’, leave their family out of it.”

The spotlight is about to get a little brighter on Tim when he releases his new album, Damn Country Music, on November 6th.
