“Top of the World,” was the debut single off Tim McGraw’s forthcoming album but Tim says, “I don’t know that I’ve ever felt on top of the world.” He explains, “I think that’s always a place to shoot for, top of the world. I mean, that’s always sort of a feelin’ you wanna get and it’s always why you keep workin’ and it’s always why you keep watchin’ your family grow and you keep everybody busy and you keep everybody workin’ towards goals and I think that’s how you work toward that feelin’.”

If Tim had to name a time when he feels closest to being on top of the world, he says, “I feel like I’m top of the world when my kids are happy and my wife’s happy and everybody’s happy at home.”

Tim is preparing to release his new album, Damn Country Music, on November 6th. His brand new single is the title track off the album.
