Reba grew up in a loving family that supported each other. At an early age, she recalls going to watch her brother, Pake, rope…and cheering on her sister, Alice, who ran barrels at the rodeo.
Often it was quality family time when they were at the arena. And with her dad having been a World Champion Roper, they shared a lot of good memories there…

“If all of us kids were behind the grandstands when we heard Clark McEntire up as the next roper, we ran as fast as we could to get to sit by mama and support her and daddy. It wasn’t a thing of yeah, he roped last week, and we saw him. No, I was there. If I was at the rodeo, I was watching daddy rope.”

- Reba just recently chatted with TV station KWTV-DT and said of her life post separation from her husband, “I’m doing great. I’ve got my, my faith is strong. And I’ve got my friends, my family and Cullen Bohannon to help me out. So I watch him every night to help me out because I got all of the four seasons downloaded and I watch Cullen Bohannon.” And if you’re not familiar with Cullen Bohannon, he’s the main character in AMC’s popular period drama Hell on Wheels who’s played by hunky actor Anson Mount
