(AUDIO) Brantley Gilbert Was A Dramatic Dier In Civil War Reenactments

Brantley Gilbert is pretty much an open book with his fans, pouring his heart out into his songs, but he came up with one little nugget that his fans might not know about him. He says, “I used to do Civil War reenactments. Yeah, I was a little drummer boy ‘til I was old enough to carry a gun.”

Brantley took the reenactments very seriously. He says, “I lived every Saturday like a champ and died every Sunday. I was a dramatic dier too. You got to go down to your knees and throw your drum. It’s usually like a stomach shot or chest shot. I was pretty dramatic. I was a badass.”

Brantley’s latest single, “Stone Cold Sober,” is the follow-up to his #1 song, “One Hell of an Amen.”
