Tim McGraw says he definitely aimed to grow as an artist on his new album, Damn Country Music, and he feels like he evolved musically, but he doesn’t know if he can pinpoint exactly how. He says, “It’s tough, because I feel like I always want to get better as an artist, and I feel like that I want to sing better, I want to perform better, I want to make better records, and I feel like I’ve done this with this record. I don’t know if I can put my finger on how I’ve evolved.”
Tim jokes, “Some people might say I’ve de-volved. I don’t know. But, I think this music elevates you, and it tells a story, and I think that’s what I try to do every time and I just think I’ve gotten better at it.”
Damn Country Music features Tim’s latest top ten single, “Top of the World.”
