Drake White admits that like a lot of people, he makes New Year’s resolutions, but he prefers to think of them as goals. He says, “I think I’m a goal-oriented person, so I don’t normally like to make (resolutions), but I try to stay goal oriented throughout the year.”
As for the kind of goals Drake focuses on, he says, “Health is a big deal for me. I love bein’ the best I can be and gettin’ up in the mornin’ and just feelin’ good every day. So, that comes with eatin’ right and exercisin’, so it’s definitely a big resolution thing. Readin’ more. You know, readin’ more, learnin’ more, and just really studying music more. Just devotin’ time to that.”
Drake will definitely be focusing on his music in 2016, including his new single, “Livin’ the Dream,” which will be featured on a new album he’ll release in 2016.
