Looking back on New Year’s Eves past, Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line says, “Probably my favorite New Year’s ever was last year, we got to play Time Square with Taylor Swift. Ryan Seacrest’s show, man it was incredible night, like a million people, plus the energy of New York City was just incredible. We had our wives there, tons of fans.”
Brian remembers watching the big ball drop on TV every year as a kid, and he says, “We’ll never forget that. As a child just watching that on TV, that ball drop, never could’ve imagined watching that in person. So, just blown away by that.”
Chances are however Florida Georgia Line chooses to ring in 2016, it will be a lot mellower than last year. Before they get back on the road next year, while their current single, “Confession,” climbs the charts, Brian and Tyler plan to finish up their next album, which they will release in Spring 2016.
