Drake White will release his new album entitled Spark in early 2016, and he says a lot of the inspiration for the songs on the album was discovered simply by being quiet. “I think you just go out there and take everything in. I have to concentrate, and I kind a pride myself on being quiet, listening.”
Drake jokes that his band would laugh to hear him say that because he’s so vocal around them, but he says, “If you just be quiet for a second and listen to the birds and listen to the way that the earth is spinnin’ and kinda the vibrations of nature, that’s where I get inspired.”
Drake’s new album will feature his latest single, “Livin’ the Dream.”

I have to concentrate, and I kind a pride myself on being quiet, listening, and I know my band will be like, ‘right’, because I am so vocal, but if you just be quiet for a second and listen to the birds and listen to the way that the earth is spinnin’ and kinda the vibrations of nature, that’s where I get inspired, so I think that’s a pretty peculiar way to look at it but I pride myself in being a little bit left of center.”
