In between visits to the studio working on a new album, Martina McBride has been sharing another passion of hers on Facebook. She’s posting party ideas and recipes as she invents them. Her bottom line seems to be, keep it simple.

When not on the road, she loves cooking and hosting small groups of friends and family at home. And her cookbook, ‘Around The Table,’ reflects that. Martina says, “I have a passion for food and entertaining. The meals in my house growing up were not the stuff in today’s food magazines and shows. They were Midwestern simple casseroles.”

Although the book came out over a year ago, she’s still picking up good reviews on line. The pages are not only filled with recipes and ideas for entertaining, but with personal anecdotes and memories as well.
