(AUDIO) Ronnie Dunn Jokes With Reba, ‘We Had To Break Through The Star Curtain With You’

If you follow Ronnie Dunn on Instagram, at first look, it may seem that he’s posted photos of a junk yard. Not So! It’s actually a vintage Airstream that he’s pulling apart and renovating for his good friend and label mate, Reba. He’s been sharing progress reports through photos as he’s striped the camper down to the basics and has pulled everything out of it from the flooring to the kitchen sink!

If you’ve never seen one, it’s a unique, oversized, travel trailer. Their families have been known to vacation together, but Ronnie hasn’t mentioned any plans for it yet.

However, they are making plans to join forces on stage again in May, as Reba and Brooks & Dunn are set for more dates at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The 3 of them first toured together in the early 90’s and that was the beginning of their lifelong friendship…

Ronnie Dunn – Jokes with Reba (and Kix) :23
“We had to break through the star curtain with you. Ya know, the vanity thing when we first met her. It was like… (Reba) ‘Oh I’ll beat the fire out of you! He is full of it!’ (Kix laughs) No, I’m serious! ‘You are not!’ No we showed up and you were the first ever to give us a job out on tour. Ya know like, we had to make 100 dollars a night and Reba was kind enough to pay that.”
