If A Thousand Horses had to choose between being in the studio and being out on the road playing shows, they say it would be a tough choice, but touring would probably win by a slight margin. Michael Hobby says it’s hard to compare them because, “they’re both totally different, way different mindsets.”
Zach Brown explains, “We love to travel. I like to travel to scenic places. Being in the studio is awesome, but it can…going day after day, it kind of sometimes turns into, work I guess.”
When it comes down to it, Michael says A Thousand Horses is such a live band and touring is their bread and butter, so that kind of tips the scale for favoring being out on the road.
They’re out on the road now with Jason Aldean on the We Were Here Tour, which will continue through early May. If you go see them live, you can see them performing their latest single, “(This Ain’t No) Drink Dial, and other cuts off their debut album, Southernality.
