Drake White has his own unique musical and personal style and he says that’s a result of being secure in who he is as a person and as an artist and surrounding himself with a great team. “The business is pretty complex at times and through the people that I’ve put around me I just know what I sound like, I know what I wanna sound like and I have a good sense of self. I know what I wanna do,” says Drake.
While some artists sometimes fall victim to outside influences to change their sound or their image, Drake says, “I really have that foundation, that group of people around me that I couldn’t change if I wanted to because it’s who I am. Nothin’s contrived, nobody says shave your beard, nobody says wear this or wear that.”
