Justin Moore is country to the core, and he often sings about the small-town country lifestyle because it’s authentic to him. Justin says, “(I) grew up on 80 acres, and then we had no stoplights or anything like that. We had a post office, two churches – you went to one or the other – a school. K-12 was on the same campus. I only graduated with 39 people.”
Justin, whose latest single, “You Look Like I Need a Drink,” is climbing the charts, jokes that he used to impress people by telling them that he was the Salutatorian of his high school graduating class, but he laughs and says, “My wife kept telling people I only graduated with 39 people, so that wasn’t too impressive.
Ultimately, Justin says he wouldn’t trade his small town upbringing for anything.
