The first time Justin Moore ever experienced the rush of standing on stage and performing for a crowd, he knew that was a feeling he wanted to experience for the rest of his life. Justin says, “I grew up as an athlete and got to play in state championship games and we even won the state championship when I was in high school in basketball undefeated, and I thought, ‘Man, nothing will ever top this.’”
But then he experienced that moment as your about to take the stage, and the high of feeling the energy of being on stage, and he says, “It’s like a drug, I mean it really is. I’ve never done drugs or whatever, but there’s certain nights where it’s perfect, and you cannot recreate that feeling with anything in the world… You cannot recreate the energy when you’re standing by the stage and the lights go down and somebody’s introducing you and you hear the band kick off and your intro, there’s nothing like it the world. It’s something really cool about it that you can’t really explain, you just kind of feel.”
Justin is working on his next album, which will feature his latest single, “You Look Like I Need a Drink.” He’ll get the chance to feel that rush of performing when he joins Brantley Gilbert for his Take It Outside Summer Tour, which kicks off on June 2nd.
