Justin Moore moved to Nashville moved to Nashville when he first started his career, but once he got married and started a family, he chose to move his family back to his home state of Arkansas. Two of the big draws for him were the values and lifestyle of small-town, middle-class living. Justin says, “Growing up in Arkansas, the things that mattered are very simple things. And that’s the thing my parents, I mean that’s where I got that from was them. I grew up in a middle class family, a hard-working family. I’m sitting here because my parents both got extra jobs to pay my bills for five years when I first moved here.”
Justin knows the sacrifices his parents made for him and how much he owes them for where he is today. He says, “Probably the most important thing was my parents’ world revolved around me. Nothing else mattered, and so I hope to be the same type of parent that they were in that regard.”
Justin is currently promoting his latest single, “You Look Like I Need a Drink” and working on his next album, but no matter what, family will always come first for him.
