(AUDIO) Rascal Flatts Honored To Be The Soundtrack To People’s Lives

One of the biggest compliments a fan can give Rascal Flatts is to let them know how much their music is a part of their life. Jay DeMarcus recalls one particular meet and greet with a fan that meant so much to him. He says, “We had a girl come through the line that had followed us for all of the 15 years of our entire career and she said something that I’ll never forget, she said, ‘You guys have literally been the soundtrack to my life. I graduated to ‘My Wish’, I wanna get married to ‘Broken Road’, I sing driving on family vacations to ‘Life Is A Highway’.’ She said, ‘You’ve literally been the soundtrack to my life.’ That’s the most humbling, gratifying thing you can hope for as an artist.”

Chances are, Rascal Flatts will hear more of those kinds of stories during their meet and greets on their upcoming Rhythm and Roots Tour, which kicks off in June. Perhaps their latest single, “I Like the Sound of That” will become part of some fans’ love stories.
