(AUDIO) Martina McBride Shares A Funny Perspective of Awards Shows

If you watched The ACM Awards over the weekend, you know Martina McBride was there. Since the beginning of her career she’s been involved with nearly all of the big awards shows in every aspect…performing, accepting, presenting, as well as walking the red carpets. So it’s safe to say she’s somewhat of an expert at these events.

She says it’s always exciting to be there, but there’s always one thing on her mind by the end of the show. She pointed out something important that you may not think of if you’re watching at home. Something an insider would know all about…

Martina – post awards show :23
“Well, usually you’re so hungry because you know they start their shows at like 5 in the afternoon and we don’t really get to eat, so everyone is starving when they’re over. So, yeah the most important thing to me is get to some food and a drink. (Laughs) A glass of wine, Champagne, whatever it is. A shot of tequila, whatever. Just to get relaxed and fed is I think everyone’s goal after an awards show.”
