Cassadee Pope could be on the verge of having her very first #1 song with “Think of You,” the duet she sings with Chris Young. The song is currently in the top ten and continuing to climb, and Cassadee says, “The first thing I thought when I heard ‘Think Of You’ was gonna be the single was that, this could possibly be my first number one. That is for sure a thought I had because Chris has great songs that go number one and I was thinking, ‘Oh my gosh, this might be my moment’.”
We told Chris about Cassadee’s excitement, and he cautiously laughed and pointed out not all of his songs have gone #1. He’s had some #2’s, a few top 10’s, etc. But Cassadee says, “I’m really, really excited about it, and even if it doesn’t [make it to #1], I mean, to see a song rapidly rise is so exciting to be a part of.”
