On Saturday night, Reba wrapped up another 2 weeks with Brooks & Dunn at Caesars Palace in Vegas, and already has 9 more shows scheduled there in July.
Taking advantage of a night off in The Entertainment Capitol of the World, she took in a Lionel Richie show. In her own words, she called it a “Super show.” She and Lionel both rose to stardom around the same time. In fact the Commodores had their first #1 in 1978, the same year Reba launched her first single.
The Country Music Hall of Fame member sees her share of stage performances and says there’s a lot to be learned by watching the audience, as well as other artists perform…

“It’s contagious. The audience has a great time when the person on stage is. And if the person is uptight and not feeling good about it, the audience is uptight. It’s so funny how that feeds back and forth. Fans are very smart, very intelligent and their feelings are wide open. I mean they’re absorbing all these emotions and so you learn watching other people.”
