Martina McBride has always said if she wasn’t a singer, she would be a party planner. So whenever she gets a chance, she still loves to organize parties and get-togethers. She recently got to plan an after-party for her daughter Emma’s graduation from high school. She says, “We had about thirty people, just her kind of close adult friends that she’s grown up with, family friends, and some family. And, yeah, it was just, we did some barbecue and I made all the sides, the baked beans and macaroni and cheese and fruit salad and sweet tea. It was kind of a southern, it was sweet.”

Martina will spend her summer on the road playing fairs and festivals and promoting her latest album, Reckless, and the title track, which is her latest single.
