Cassadee Pope’s new single, “Summer,” is all about a summer romance, so when it came time to shoot the video, Cassadee wanted to be true to the emotions and the storyline, which meant things got pretty sexy during the shoot. Cassadee says, “It’s very bold, it’s very daring, and the way that I see it is, this song is so vivid, the pictures that it paints lyrically deserve to be recognized. And when I went into writing the treatment, I just thought, ‘I have to go for it, and I have to tell this story exactly the way that I see it in my head.’ So, It was done in Clearwater Beach Florida. It’s all about a summer romance, so, it gets a little steamy.”

“Summer” is the title track of Cassadee’s new EP, which is available now.
