(AUDIO) JENNIFER NETTLES’ SON DEFINITELY LOVES MUSIC

Jennifer Nettles’ son, Magnus, is three years old and he definitely is already demonstrating a love for music.  She says, “Yeah, like most kids he enjoys music. I think it’s an inherent, human property to like music, so of course he likes music. He tends to be really drawn to the drums, which I think a lot of kids are first anyways because rhythm and melody are really the only two parts of music, when you think primally. So, he loves the drums, but he also has fun on the piano.”

Jennifer plans to let Magnus’ interest in music grow organically and she says, “I’ll see where he, you know, where his interests really lie as he continues to get older…and he loves to sing, and he loves for me to sing. He’s heard it since I was on the road when I was pregnant with him. So, he’s heard it his whole life and even before, and still I rock him and sing to him. So…he loves it.”

While the subject matter isn’t that of a lullaby, chances are Magnus loves to hear his mama sing her beautiful latest single, “Unlove You.”
