Eli Young Band’s new single, “Saltwater Gospel,” definitely features a beachy theme with some religious undertones, and for Mike Eli, it makes total sense. He says, “I know for me, I mean, you look at the ocean, you realize how small you are in this world. I think that the ocean is a lot of unknown. I think it’s a scary, beautiful place and being able to witness it, to be out there with it, and to be able to get into the water, you kind of feel like there’s something much bigger than you out there.”
“Saltwater Gospel” is the first release off of Eli Young Band’s forthcoming album, which they are currently working on.
