Martina McBride’s latest album is called “Reckless,” featuring her new single, “Just Around the Corner,” and she says she thinks she’s done a few reckless things in her life. She says, “I went hang gliding once. That was fun, and kind of dangerous, I guess. I was super young and I didn’t really realize how dangerous it was and it was in Mexico and I’d never done it before, and so that was fun.”
Depending on your definition of reckless, Martina says, “l think one of the craziest things I did was move to Nashville. You know, I was really young and John and I had just been married about a year and we didn’t know anybody. It was another thing, I followed my instinct. I said I want to sing country music and I need to move to Nashville, and boom, three months later we were here and just trying to figure it out as we went along.”
So it turns out being reckless can lead to some pretty incredible thing, like in Martina McBride’s case.
