The Zac Brown Band is incredibly tight-knit and fully committed to each other as a group, and Zac believes the reason the band is so tight is because of all their shared experiences – good and bad – that they’ve had up to this point. Zac says, “It’s amazing we’re all still alive, as many really terrible vans and shuttle buses and stuff that we were in. We should have slid off a mountain a long time ago. We were all passed out drooling in the back, and our guitar player, who could barely, at the time he could barely tie his shoes was driving us through Colorado, through the mountains, and the van blowing up and the generator dying. You can’t fake those things. You can’t fake the chemistry that comes from those things.”
The creative process also bonds the Zac Brown Band together, from writing and recording their latest single, “Castaway,” and their most recent album, Jekyll + Hyde, to touring the country on their Black Out the Sun Tour.
