(AUDIO) ELI YOUNG BAND WILL PRODUCE AT LEAST ONE GREAT PIANO PLAYER

Jon Jones of Eli Young Band says one regret he has in life is that he’s not a great piano player.  Apparently when he was a kid, he says, “My sister played piano and I played violin and my sister got reall, really good at piano and I gave up violin before I kind of hit that next level and moved onto other instruments.  But my sister stuck with it with piano and I’m a little bit jealous whenever I see someone who can just sit down and play the piano by ear.  I have a lot of respect for that.”

Because Jon has such a regret for not learning to play piano, he says, “I think that’s why my son’ll someday be taking piano lessons, like it or not.”

Fortunately, Jon grew up to be a pretty good bass player, and now he’s enjoying  putting that skill to use as Eli Young Band tours the country this summer, playing shows and promoting their great new single, “Saltwater Gospel.”
