Eli Young Band’s latest single, “Saltwater Gospel,” definitely has a beach vibe to it, which is the kind of song the band has always wanted, but they are excited that it’s not a typical or cliché beach song.  Mike Eli says, “I feel like we always wanted this kind of song, but we wanted to make sure that it said something more than, you know, just, ‘Hey, let’s go to the beach and have a beer.’ We wanted it to be more than that. When ‘Saltwater Gospel’ found its way to us, we kind of knew right away that it was that song for us. It feels like that feel-good/party beach song, but there’s a whole lot more to it than that. I think that’s what we love about it.”

“Saltwater Gospel” will be on Eli Young Band’s nect album, which will likely be released in early 2017.
