(AUDIO) JUSTIN MOORE IS MUCH MORE PREPARED FOR SUCCESS NOW

Justin Moore’s success has been a bit of a slow build throughout his career, and it’s probably a blessing.  Justin says, “You know, it was really difficult for me to handle early on in my career. I didn’t understand why all of these things were happening to me and good things. It was really tough to handle. That’s one reason I started drinking and I thought man, I can do anything I wanna do. I deserve this. I just wasn’t myself, you know.”

The part Justin struggled with the most wasn’t the money, it was the fame and the celebrity status.  Justin says, “I’m not the Brad Pitt famous or anything like that, [but] any sense of fame, nobody can really prepare you for that. Nobody can teach you how this is going to be. You’ve just gotta learn it on your own.”

These days, Justin has learned to handle his success, such as his latest #1 song, “You Look Like I Need A Drink, and the success of his latest album, Kinda Don’t Care, with grace and humility.  He just released his new single, “Somebody Else Will.”

Justin Moore – handling early success  :41

“You know, it was really difficult for me to handle early on in my career. I didn’t understand why all of these things were happening to me and good things. It was really tough to handle. That’s one reason I started drinking and I thought man, I can do anything I wanna do. I deserve this. I just wasn’t myself, you know. I don’t know. It was difficult for me to handle success more so than even money. It was just being famous and, you know, I’m not the Brad Pitt famous or anything like that. Any sense of fame, nobody can really prepare you for that. Nobody can teach you how this is going to be. You’ve just gotta learn it on your own.”
