(AUDIO) JUSTIN MOORE ADDS A LITTLE R&B FLAVOR TO HIS MIX WITH “SOMEBODY ELSE WILL”

Justin Moore’s latest single, “Somebody Else Will,” is perhaps the most progressive song on his latest album, Kinda Don’t Care.  Some people think Justin might have been inspired by some of the more modern sounds in country music from people like Thomas Rhett and Sam Hunt, but Justin says, “See, to me, it’s less of those guys and more of an R&B kind of feel. This is the first time I’ve ever used loops and tracks and all that good stuff. And I had to educate myself on how to use those things in a positive manner and have it not get in the way and take over and do all those things that can be perceived as negative.”

Justin says one thing that drove him to want to try some different sounds on his latest album is that he wanted to create an album that felt good, and he says, “I usually don’t take that mentality in the studio. I’m usually more lyric driven and less conscious of the feel of a record and I think this record feels really good.”

Kinda Don’t Care not only features “Somebody Else Will,” but also Justin’s latest #1 song, “You Look Like I Need A Drink.”
