Now that the end of the year is here and Rascal Flatts has some time off, they all plan to scatter and spend time with their families. It doesn’t mean they won’t see each other at all during the holiday season. Jay DeMarcus says, “You know every once in a while, we’ll be together at a holiday party or something, but you know we spend a lot of time through the year either working on a record or working on two records, in this year’s instance, and touring. So we catch up on a lot of things that we haven’t got to do while we’ve been together. So we tend to scatter over the holidays. But we certainly stay in touch and text you know Merry Christmas, Happy Thanksgiving.”
Joe Don Rooney agrees. He says, “My goodness it has been years in the past we’ve definitely spent more time with each other than with our families. So we’ve been blessed to get control of our schedule and have that time blocked off at the end of the year to be able to get back to our nests and recharge.”
Rascal Flatts hopes to spend part of the holidays with you and your family by way of their Christmas CD, The Greatest Gift of All, which is available now.
