If you’ve heard Justin Moore’s latest album, Kinda Don’t Care, and his latest single, “Somebody Else Will,” then you know he is making some of the best music of his career. Justin released his debut album in 2009 and he says, “It feels like if we’re going to take another step forward and go from B level act to A level act it’s kind of time. Not to say it can’t happen later but that’s our goal.”
Justin wants his fans and everyone to know that he is thrilled with the progress he has made and is grateful and humbled by the success he’s experienced, but he also says, “Who doesn’t want to be nominated for Entertainer of the Year every year? You know who doesn’t want to win Male Vocalist, who doesn’t want to win Song of the Year? Not that the awards are what I’m trying to achieve but it’s just being mentioned with those guys and gals who are in that area of our format. And also, we’ve been doing this close to a decade now and again we’ve had a lot of success and I’m thrilled to be where we are but it kind of feels like we’re starting the second half of our career you know like we’re kicking off the third quarter.”
Justin is currently out on the road with Lee Brice, co-headlining The American Made Tour, which will run through April 28th.
