(AUDIO) TRENT HARMON HAS LEARNED A LOT THROUGH TRIAL BY FIRE

Trent Harmon has dreamt of making a living through music for a long time, but he says any thoughts he might have had about what it would be like can’t even compare to the reality, even with the experience he gained through American Idol.  “It really didn’t compare at all,” says Trent.  “I had nothing to compare it to. Idol was a crash course in a lot of things, but not really the industry.  It prepared you for being on time, working a lot, late hours and no sleep, but didn’t teach you a lot of things about songwriting. You know that’s something I’ve had to pick up, radio tour. You know I had to do all that in the last six months.”

The good news is, Trent has done a great job of figuring things out.  He’s been doing an excellent job or promoting his song “There’s A Girl,” all over the country, and he’s been busy writing and working on his debut album, which he’ll release later this year.
