If you’ve heard Brett Young’s brand new self-titled debut album, then you know that he’s definitely got a romantic streak in him.  In fact, Brett says, “I think I’m extremely romantic probably to the point of being sappy.  But I’m also, like, the athlete in me is very hard-nosed and competitive so it probably doesn’t come out all the time.  But when it comes to songwriting it’s really hard for me to write if I’m not drawing from personal experience and so I think that romantic side of you has to come out if you’re telling a true story and trying to connect with people that way.”

Some of that romance definitely came through in Brett’s latest single, “In Case You Didn’t Know.”
