Trent Harmon has had the chance to perform on stages and in front of audiences of all sizes, but there is one performance in particular he will never forget, when he fell in love with the feeling of performing in front of a large crowd. Trent recalls, “2006 I walked out on stage at the Orpheum Theater in Memphis, and I’m not sure how many people the Orpheum holds but it was a full house that night. And I walked out on stage to sing a song for an event and I’d never heard that many people clap. And of course you can’t see all the way up to the second and third level … because there’s lights. But when I walked off stage I remember telling some folks I was like, ‘I’ve never heard that many hands make that much noise.’ And I said, ‘It shook the stage.’ I felt that many people clapping and I’ve never felt that in my life. And from that point forward I was like that was a high, like you can’t, you know, a performance high that I’ve never been on ever in my life.”
Trent has had the chance to experience that high many, many times since then, and it’s even cooler for him when the audience is clapping for one of his songs, like his latest single, “There’s A Girl.” You can keep up with Trent’s tour schedule at TrentHarmon.com.
