Trent Harmon is from a small town in Mississippi, so you can imagine when he first started to become a celebrity, it was a big deal to the people back home, but he says now, “I would hate to say that they’ve gotten used to it but it’s almost a good thing that they’ve kind of gotten used to me performing and hearing it at different functions, in different states, on different stations.  And it’s weird to think that they’ve kind of accepted that I’m going to have a career in music but they have I mean it’s I think they were open to the possibility a long time ago, they just didn’t know if it would happen. And here we are.”

So perhaps his family doesn’t call him or text him every time his latest single, “There’s A Girl” comes on the radio, but they’re still just as excited and proud of Trent for everything that’s happened so far.
